 Japanese Calligrapher and Abstract Ink Artist based in Japan.

 

Born in Kyoto, Yanagi explores abstract expression through ink,
rooted in Japanese calligraphy.

 

His work expands calligraphy into a contemporary visual language.

After studying under Eijo Ochi, he developed a style centered on
“calligraphy without formality.”

Through ink, he continues to explore new forms beyond tradition.
